THE RESPONSE OF YOUTH TO ATATURK
ON THE 105th ANNIVERSARY OF ATATURK'S LANDING IN SAMSUN

In the Republic of Turkiye, which you have entrusted to the youth, the state that exists for humans has been sacralized, and the sacred human has been made a slave of the state; human rights and freedoms have been extended unlimitedly for some people and completely eliminated for others, and the state, whose basis is justice, has become on the verge of collapse. The current situation, where there is no justice and legal security, is not a state order but a discriminatory persecution order.
We know in the second century of the republic, which is about to collapse but you say will remain forever, that the only way we should follow against the imperialist projects implemented on us and the politicians who implement these projects is to put aside all differences and become ONE uniting around a common goal. And this common goal is to build a fully independent Turkiye by removing the heedless, misguided, and even treasonous power holders from their power within the country.
We, the young children of the Republic of Turkiye, who have fully realized that the republic you entrusted to us is our most valuable treasure, know that; today, as the Republic of Turkiye is faced with an illegitimate government that has unlawfully abolished the constitution and an incompetent opposition that is heedless, misguided and perhaps treasonous; what needs to be discussed by our people in the circumstances we are in is the question of who has the right and authority to make a constitution, before the question of which constitutional text will be better for our country. We, who have not forgotten the date of April 16, 2017, declare to the whole world that those who abolished the constitution with an illegal coup do not have the right or authority to make a constitution, and it will not happen as a result of any negotiation. Under the current conditions, where a legitimate constitution and a legitimate government do not exist, the right and authority to make a constitution belong only to our people, who are the UNCONDITIONAL OWNERS OF THE SOVEREIGNTY, and the problem we need to discuss first is how the people will use this right and authority.

Today, we, who are demonstrating the will to protect the Republic, have definitely realized what our duty is. The duty given to us on the stage of history is to raise the Republic, which has been left without a constitution and is on the verge of collapse on its 100th anniversary, again on the foundations of JUSTICE; and today, by meeting the requirements of the situation and conditions we are in, we have set out to bring the Republic of Turkiye to a legitimate constitution and our people to a fair order through the founding power of the people.
In these days when we must defend our independence and the Republic, we are well aware that the possibilities and circumstances we are in are not at all favorable. However, we do not reflect on the possibilities and circumstances of the situation we are in when we are taking up our duty. Because, as we demonstrate the will to protect our most precious treasure, the Republic of Turkiye, which you established and entrusted to us by putting your lives on the line 100 years ago, we are inspired by you and the words of Mahatma Gandhi, who led India's independence struggle: “Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.”
Today, we, the young children of the Republic of Turkiye, invite our people to walk together on the path of realizing the ideal of a fully independent Turkiye as we declare to the whole world and our people, who are the UNCONDITIONAL OWNERS OF THE SOVEREIGNTY, that we have set out to provide the Republic of Turkiye with a legitimate constitution and our people with their respected place in the human family.
